  • FZ25 Tyre upgrade

    Hello guys,
I have been driving my FZ25 for almost an year now. It has done around 13000kms and nowadays it's fish tailing a bit on heavy breaking. So, please advise me as to when I need to change the tyres and what are the best tyres for it. I have a daily commute of 40-45kms. I don't shy away from riding the bike in the rain or from taking off road (if needed). Also I do a lot of touring on it.

Another thing I wanted to know about is if we can change the tyre size. And if yes then by how much.
Thank you for helping me out.

    Regards,
    Shreyas

You can upgrade to 150/60 tyre from KTM/Dominar tyre but it's not recommended.

For stock tyre size go had with Michelin Pilot Street 140/70 or Pirelli Angel C.T. 140/70, they are upto 50% improvement compared to stock MRF tyre.

Any clue about MRF Masseter ?
Thought of MRF Zapper for front and Masseter for rear.. Did not find any good reviews on the same so couldnt decide.. if any experience or expertise on same please share..

Already done with 35k kms with stock and i think tyres are done now as its filled with punctures

More than Masseter would Michellen Pilot Sport 140/70 would be much better option.
Masseter gets hard very soon and looses the softness within 1-2 years/10K kms
