  • Interceptor 650 tyre

I am looking for alternative tyre for interceptor 650 .Currently using Pirelli Phantom loose which as lost its tread at 6000 km. I want more life to tyres. Main purpose better cornering and high speed.

So which tyre did you replace your stock tyres with...I believe Metzler and Timsun provide good replacements.

        Hello!

Well I have done 13700km and I will soon be looking at replacements. Tyres on my interceptor are still good for at least a thousand kms. (Fingers crossed).

I saw this video today: and it looks gloomy as far as replacement tyres are concerned.

I rode interceptor with timsun front / rear (150) for 300 km. Did not like it a bit. Bike vobbles anything beyond 90. Everything on the bike was checked, alignment, wheel balance etc. so it had to be tyres.

I am yet to investigate what CEAT comes up with.

        Cheers.

If you are still figuring out which tire to mount, you may want to consider getting Michelin Anakee 2. I have them on my motorcycle right now, and so far I can say that these tires provide a good cornering grip. You can find other options at 4wheelonline in case you are not a fan of Michelin tires.

              Hey,

I too am looking for replacement tyres having done 15500Km on odo. I am not keen on Pirelli Phantom sports. Any review of Ceat? MRF? I have ridden Timsum and did not like it either.

Why don't you consider the stock tyres of the 2021 Int/Gt 650s? They are by ceat and should be cheaper than the Michellins, Pirelli, Metzler and Timsun
