  • Help choosing a sensible tyre for fz25

Hello there, I have done 24,000 kms on my FZ25 and now the tyres are due for change.

    I have few questions!

Are radial tyres really necessary for a 250 cc bike that is mostly ridden in city sometimes in highway and never does track days? ( I'm not eager to corner hard and touch road with knee on highways)

Here in Nepal not a lot of trusty sellers selling good tyres. Choices I have are:

    Apollo Actizip r5 140/70 -17 -Npr 4500

    Apollo Alpha s1 140/60-r17 - Npr 6000

    Apollo Alpha h1 150/60-r17 - Npr 7500

Among these three which one should I go?

If I go with radials 140/60 or 150/60?

150/60 is closer to the 140/70 size but obviously wider by 10 mm. Also what will I loose if I go for 140/60 tyres?

Or should I just keep things simple and go with Actizip R5?

Any other suggestion guys? Below are the comparison chart for different tyre sizes.

Thanks and didn't want to put odd sizes then what is reccomended and found pirelli showroom and got angel ct 140/70 and 100/80 front and back and bike is so much agile with the pirelli . Front is super light and steering is breeze.
