  • Tyres for pulsar 220f

Hi everyone, I ride a new Pulsar 220F. I want to change its tyres, from stock Euroslips to any other good brand. The rear tyre size is 120/80 R17 and the front is 90/90 R17.

I need good grip from them. They must not skid while braking. Roads are not bad. Upsizing can be done, if it doesn't changes anything to riding experience. Mileage is not a problem, nor money.

So please provide me your valuable inputs regarding my query.

    Thanks in advance.

I had gone with Ceat Secura F 90/90-17 at front and RevZ S 130/70 - 17 at rear, changed rear to MRF Meteor 120/80-17 last month due to off road usage.

You can go with MRF Masseter Combo for the best grip.

Never heard or seen such shit myself, if you heard from some dealer then there's that. MRF does gets some crak but on the tread, and that's harmless, stock front MRF tyre of my 2008 Honda Shine developed cracks on the tread in 2012 and I used it till 2017-18 without any problems.

Can't tell about the tyres as I haven't personally used them but the sizes are okay. Not much difference, as I've used 130/70 tear myself, if anything will help you while cornering provided thr rubber is sticky like RevZ S.

When I was looking for reliable and robust tyres for my pulsar 220f, I went for Apollo bike tyres. It was recommended to me by a close friend, who is a happy and satisfied user of Apollo Tyres. Their Actizip F2 tyres are the best tyres for this bike and provide precise steering control for high-speed biking. They also have easy tyre mounting and demounting as well. The working of my bike has become very smooth after the replacement, and I immensely enjoy my rides. All this due to Apollo tyres.
