  • Tyre questions for RE Meteor 350

    Hello guys,

I have questions related to tyres for RE Meteor 350.

I have booked Meteor 350 and there is some time for it to be delivered. And since stock tyres are going to be from CEAT, I don't have high hopes from them. So looking to replace them from the start if a better alternative available.

My current RE Bullet Electra UCE had CEAT but I changed them to Michelin Sirac Street and loved them especially for the superior build and grip on any surface.

But I looked up the specs and have a hard time finding out what are the alternatives.

    Front: 100/90-19" 57P
    Rear: 140/70-17" 66P

Are these sizes unique? which means only CEAT/MRF will make tyres for them?
Or should I stick to OEM tyres for a few years?

Size are not unique, you get same size Michelin aswell but finding will be difficult due to very few shops keep them.

CEAT is 50% times better than MRF anyday. Use the stock tire till your 2 years warranty expires I'd say.

100/90 19 size are not easily available in the open market. I read somewere that the OEM tyre for meteor is ceat zoom plus. Only a few indian bikes has this size. Ktm adv 390 and adv 250, honda highness, enfield meteor has these size by oem. Timsun 100/90 19 was available earlier. If budget is not a constraint, you can go for metzeler that comes as OEM for ktm adv 390. Michelin scorcher also available on amazon for rs 7900.
