Hello motorheads, this is my first post. I am about to change the tyres of my NS 200 BS4. I was going for Michelin Pilot Street 140/70/R17 but the shopkeeper recommended me to not upsize the tyre as it decreases the mileage, acceleration and top speed.

Rather, he is suggesting me to go with Apollo Alpha A1 130/70/R17 because its is built using newer technology and also, if I prefer to upsize my tyres, its better to go with 150 section tyre (Apollo Alpha H1). What should I do?

If I upsize, how much do I have to sacrifice and is it worth it? Or should I install the Apollo Alpha S1? How are they (didn't find much about S1 on the internet)?
