I think its also the 'desktop' that makes a big difference for making any damn pic stand out. It depends on the OS and also the screen. I think macs have a truly gorgeous screen and the colors really pop out, even if its a dull shot, which i have noticed quite many times.

hi this one is my permanent desktop. sometimes i change it to the pictures of the scale model cars/bike that i own for a day or two.
i don't have any files on desktop. no i don't switch off 'display desktop icons'. if you do that the picture display quality is slightly compromised. the only thing that i can not remove is recycle bin which is dragged to the corner. even the taskbar is in auto hide status .

This is my current desktop. Wallpapers are changed often. Current wallpaper is a scanned chopper design drawn on paper with pencil . The drawing and design of the bike is done by me and my friend.

Ohhh Windows 7 is defiantly better then Vista. Vista should have never come out. It's the Windows 7 that should have been the case. Had it for few months and now I'm back on Ubuntu and Windows XP media center edition
