  • Who cares for Garware anyways
But i'd be great if some Indian company buys out Hyosung....
Men who still dream of being a pilot or an astronaut are yet to ride a motorcycle.

I hope Mahindra bags the deal...........they hold some promise from the Korean manufacturer.Mahindra can develop and craft bikes on their own and are very brave as a compnay.

The Hero group should look for tie-up friendly business ventures or would drive even the Hyosung to complaceny.

Well if Mahindra takes up Hyosung then we can buy Hyosungs from Mahindra showrooms only. As, for Garware, they can try and bring Triumph to India.

              • Hyosung with Mahindra will be more promising for both the companies..... even for us too ..... if Hero ties up with Hyosung, we'll end up seeing Splendor & Passion with Hyosung name & GT graphics .....
                what about Garware.....

                  • Do HH see blogs for feedback/ideas ?

Please close production of Achiever and may be even CBZ-X and come out with a 150cc Cruiser with 6 gears, let styling be based on enticer/avenger.

                    • Or Come out with a naked 225 cc bike. Just plonk the ZMA/ZMR engine (with some tinkering to improve the performance) to Hunk like chasis, some cosmetic changes and a new badge.

May be it should do well of-course with some sensible pricing.

Small OT: Bro, what did you like about the Hunk Chassis?

And secondly, I agree about your suggestion, a naked bike having the 223cc engine of ZMA, it could save some costs, look great, and sell good too.
But given their present R&D state, "some tinkering to improve the performance" might not actually happen.

                        • Nothing about the Hunk chasis. I meant a naked and I like the looks of Hunk. I meant to say something that looks like Hunk, but a better one.

I see. The chassis is basically the frame, quite an invisible but crucial thing. So, Hero can keep the karizma chassis, and still give it a naked look.
Karizma is somewhat better when it comes to handling-suspension combo, so basically it should remain the same I believe.

                            • Yes, and a more sporty riding position. Like the P220 S or the P200. Should look like a hooligan.

Not a bad idea. Will be an instant hit.

                              • Hero, you heard few opinions..... so Hero, beside experimenting with Diesel engine, do bring some naked street bike..... there are many followers and it will increase your sales figure(-1, not me).....
