+1 But according to speculations/rumors, its the same 150cc mill with a remapped ecu for more power. But nothing can be said till have a official word on this.

I may be being over-optimistic but i somehow feel it is a 200cc mill with 20+ bhp.
With twin projector headlamps, aerodynamic fairing revision and the remapped ECU it will set the sales figure high for Yamaha if its priced around 1 lakh.
Nothing more to ask for..

Alright guys, I just spoke to a yamaha rep.
He said the New R15 is going to be 180cc, 22bhp and 2 variants, ABS and Standard. The bike will be released next year but bookings shall begin soon. He also told me that his store manager is attending a meeting today and that he'll let me know about the exact details of the bike on monday!
Please treat this as speculation as long as we don't have SOLID proof, Im just saying what I heard.

apparently the standard model is going to be 1.09L ex-showroom.
Don't know about the ABS(Its existence is questionable)..

not sure ..ur bluffing or giving true facts ... but from ur info .. its highly possible ..

18PS with 150CC mill is very practical .. seems like 1PS extra might compensate the 120section rear, and with almost same price factor .. its truly a winner in the premium section of 150CC

A big cheer to current owner to get there older bike to modify with this new components .... atleast for me untill GT250R comes out

Well, we still have a possible 250cc Yamaha on its way. Lets just hope they bring R-xx instead of the Fazer series! Fingers Crossed!
