MG said near ..it means next autoexpo the official release info might get out .. that's a healthy good 2.5Months of waiting

He said its deferred to March as they won't release it till they manage to localize it to the max extent i.e., atleast fibre parts&engine will continue to be imported assembled here.
He said even after that we can expect a price tag of 2.3-2.5L. I'm not sure if that is OTR or ex-showroom.

Mr. Hyder Ali Khan said during the GT650N launch that the new GT250 would be localized and should hit the market by March-April 2012. They have build a core team working on the localization.
He also said that even the engine would be assembled in India.

This one can be the one Pulsar which gets the 250cc single engine, DOHC and 4 valves and has got the naked look.Which means if KTM Duke is anything around 23-24bhp, the Pulsar's gonna be around 28-29bhp.

The sensible equation for this Pulsar is simple:
135,150,180,220-Pulsars
200,350(upcoming)-KTM.........now there is a lack of 250cc in this range.

Engine based on KTM, but taking up mantle from Pulsar 220- can only be a Pulsar 250.
