    1. HP - Sakinaka (There are 2 HP petrol bunks and both of them are worst....I request you to never ever make an attempt filling from them)
    2. HP - Vikhroli
The thread has not moved for some time...but still
has the Shell pump opened in Rabale?

I used Indian Oil Extra Premium for my R15 (v.1) coz it give me better mileage and performance (Since when I tested 700rs normal vs Extra Premium petrol, I came to know that Extra Premium petrol give more mileage as compare normal petrol [HP/BHRAT/Indian Oil])
Also using citi bank credit card, I am getting waiver for Fuel Surcharge (17.50 on 700 Rs petrol) and also get bonus point which I am redeem later to buying same Indian Oil petrol.

Is there any way to check if the bunk is actually dispensing Premium fuel or are they just giving normal petrol filled in premium tanks?

Last time I checked it was permanently closed. I had sent an email to Shell India for their future plans of Petrol Pumps in Mumbai and they say they dont have any as of yet.

A must avoid (yes, I am screaming) petrol bunk - IOCL, Hosur road, the one near Silkboard.

An incident that is relevant here -
On May 13, 2012, I went to an IOCL petrol bunk (viveknagar road - near Koramangala sony center signal) to get a tank full. The bike galloped 9.11 litres and the amount on the gas station showed Rs. 761 ( I am sure of both the numbers). Gave my card for swiping. Then realised something's not right, the petrol rate here in Bangalore is Rs. 73.5 and hence the amount must not have exceeded Rs. 735!. Went to the guy who was about to swipe for 761, asked for the system generated bill. And there it was, 9.11 litres and Rs. 670! The guy said sorry saar it is Rs. 670 and not Rs. 761.
I still dont know how did that station show Rs. 761! Its terrifying to see what level these guys can go to to cheat us

Are you referring to the one near the Agara flyover opposite the lake?
And why is it to be avoided? I fill up here only all the time and have done so for a few years now.
The incident you have mentioned is not this bunk.

Nope, I am talking of the one very close to Silkboard, not the one you are referring to. Have had a similar incident there. The guy stopped putting in petrol when I got distracted and had my eyes off the station (for merely 1-2 secs) and claimed 500 rs, whereas the petrol filled was for ~ Rs. 380.

The incident which I mentioned in my earlier post is not this bunk (have already mentioned the location there)

Thanks to all, I was wondering, we think of petitions regarding bring in imported cars and bike, or bringing down importing prices and taxes, why isn't there any petitions or strict laws or rather a revolution regarding the quantity and quality of petrol.

                    Any online petitions?

I personally only use Indian oil in Goa, as HP and BP only serve up 87 Ron, regardless if it's normal, speed or power, IO give 91 Ron at all their pumps in India, I had verified this a few months back with all the 3 companies present in Goa.

I usually fill up from Shell Station which is on the way to office. Check the pic, Yep those are gloosy metallic keychains, collectors item you can say.

They give me free key chain and lots of stickers every time I fill fuel there, So far they have also given me two Ferrari 1/32 scale models - Enzo and 360 Spider. I dont mind the extra buck there, the guys out there are very decent and always ensure the zero switch to be done before filling, after filling the bill is dispensed immediately from the machine besides the fuel meter itself. I also get the visor wiped and air filled free of cost. I remember early morning rides have been offered a cup of tea when filling fuel also.

I'm talking about Shell pump Warje, Pune, Maharashtra.
