You do not need to travel that far
There are two authorized distributors in India.
One is in Delhi (www.bringingbest.com, New Delhi, India) and the other is in bangalore (auto mall, bangalore their site : Auto Mall).
I have ordered from both and the services were prompt and delightful (bringingbest sent me a complimentarty microfibre cloth along with the Collonite 845)
Both are good so if you want you can order from any of them.

    Hope I helped a little.

    Regards
    Piyush

The shop guy was forcing me to buy it,But i read somewhere that some compounds eats a layer and gives shine,So i told him to give me 3M.Thanks god.

Give us some feedback about the 3M liquid wax (pics of the bottle & results if possible), have you used it ? is it good ?

I had used it before,Easy to apply and gives very good shine,But not sure how much days will it last. Will post the results once i use it.

Then he showed me 3M Vinyl and Plastic Protectant for use in rear fenders,110rs. is it OK to use in fender? As it is 3M,I hopes it will work well.

Pinaki Sir - Automall is in Bangalore; its local shipping; its difficult to find in Walmart or Autozone. Order from India itself sir, they're prompt & Mr.Sham is nice person.

No no aargee , have not doubted your good intention for one moment . Is this in kolkata or got to have it shipped here ?

Is it? Collinite claims this product to protect the shine for over 6-8 months. But being India, I'd safely bet about 2-3 months. I've been testing my Rx's tank for quite sometime now; I'd polished & waxed it more than a month ago; the shine remains in the same shape after so much abusal from rains, dirt & muck. All I need to do is just wipe off the dust to get almost the same shine. Also when I say wipe, I really mean one simply wipe, nothing even close to rubbing or cleaning.
Well , ok .. I'll certainly give it a try ... once I can get hold of it . I'll be in the US again next July too .. dunno if they allow it in air-baggage . Lets see .

Sir, 3M's are just average products; better we enthusiast leave them for common commuters

Went to the Collinite website and store locater or distributor list page and entered my zip code in the upper left corner as instructed . All stores that appeared were in USA . I am not able to travel that far to buy just a car wax , and am unable to endorse a product which has no shop or distributor in India , for regular use . Moreover #845 is priced at 17.99$ i.e about 900 Rs , i'm sure the importer will price it much more than this too . So unless this product is about ten times better than my perfectly good old one , which I think it isn't, you know what I'll buy .

It is also my belief that wax-polish that is easier to buff off .. is also similarly easily removed by the natural elements . Collinite also admits this and I quote -
    1. No.476s – most durable protection/weather defense. Most elbow grease required during application.
    2. No. 915- 2nd most durable and slightly easier than the 476s to apply/remove. No. 915 .....
    3. No. 845- easiest of the 3 to apply/remove with slightly less durability than the No. 915.
    source : http://www.collinite.com/about-us/faqs
So you see that their most durable formulations also contains the max proportion of carnauba and is solid-paste . All their waxes are combination of carnauba & polymer waxes . Waxpol is only carnauba wax . That too desi and for just 100 odd Rs . No fakes .
Aargee , I'm lazier than you too . Got a 100ml bottle of 3M liquid wax , waiting to try it out next. The 3M is not an imported one , it is polymer-only wax .

Pinaki sir - Just asking out of curiosity, why do you suggest Waxpol? I'm aware it used to be a superior product once, but, today its just an average one. Why not suggest for some liquid wax like Collinite 845 which only takes 15 minutes to do the job on the entire motorcycle & most importantly, saves time & avoids hard exercise ?

One coat is good , two better .. don't do more .. wax layers tend to build up . Double coat will be good for two three months at least , with weekly gentle plain water washing .
Try it sometime on your leather shoes too . Better more waterproof than any shoe polish I've ever used (including kiwi parade gloss) .
Sure thing, i'd try out in my shoes soon and thanks again for the tip

Pinaki, i was abt to ask for your suggestions and tips but i went ahead today as i have to wait for a week more I finished it and came online to ask em but, here u are, gave it before hand..!! thanks a lot !!

I used washed cotton material cloth to apply, and the MF to wipe the wax off. I waited for 2-4 mins for it to set. Plan to do another coat next week end, so i'd follow your tips the next time
One more doubt, how damp the applicator cloth has to be? if u spread it, it shouldn't leave traces of water right ?
