Oh yes it is, really helpful for finding jet sizes. If everyone up there, shares their info at the the right time, it'd help a lot.
Cheers!

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

This thread is specifically for the genuine OE parts nadz. Try posting the same in FZ16 thread or groups in FB where you have lots of mods on the Fazer series.
Cheers!

Re: Universal Thread : OE alternative parts Database For Indian Bikes.
The older Honda Unicorn's steel rims are also suitable for rx 100, rxg and rx135. They appear to be slightly better in terms of quality than OEM Yamaha rims IMHO. I am using these in my Rx 100 without any trouble. My very experienced mech said bullet spokes can also be used in RX 18 inch rims for added strength and durability as they are thicker.
@ Gurus :could you please let us know what carb jets might be appropriate for Rx 100 or sister bikes. That is, what jets(other bik e/ car jets?) apart from OE jets might be suitable? Thanks.

Good thoughts running through this thread.
1. Maintain excel spreadsheet with OE parts and the alternative
2. Part# if found suitable with another bike manufacturer to pin point the product which is a direct fit.
3. Cost - We could probably give an idea if not exact price.

To add up,
Pulsar 220 DTSi's rear brake pads are a direct fit in to CBR250R's rear disc setup. No difference in bite. I was asked for 2000rs for the honda pads, whereas the bajaj ones cost me just 200rs.

Hi Shaan, Can the bullet spokes be used for Samurai Bike as well. I assume you are talking about the spokes for the 18'' rims of Bullet Classic. please check with your mechanic and let me know. Also would it be a good idea to plate ( chrome or Nickle) the new spokes before installation.Originally posted by shaanbirdman View PostThe older Honda Unicorn's steel rims are also suitable for rx 100, rxg and rx135. Re: Universal Thread : OE alternative parts Database For Indian Bikes.
No I was writing about std bullet's spokes. The timw when I had the discussion with the mech the bullet classic was not in sale in india. He says that the added thickness of std bullet 19 inch spokes adds strength to the wheel. While I was also curious as to how do we accommodate the 19 inch spokes in 18 inch rims, he said that its a done thing. Its probably possible as the hubs are smaller. It would be a better idea to leave the spokes galvanised. They are less susceptible to corrosion that way as cpmpared to chrome.Originally posted by srikany View PostHi Shaan, Can the bullet spokes be used for Samurai Bike as well. Interchangeable parts on bikes
Hello forum members
I have found a similar thread on team bhp. So I thought that we can start the same thread here since this is a forum dedicated to bikes. So forum members please share your experience. I will start with a small hint from my side
The chain cover of discover 135 is a direct fit to Bajaj Discover 100 4g.
I request mods to please merge this thread with a suitable one if this cannot be kept stand alone.
Thanks and regards
