Re: How do you carry your DSLRs on a Bike Trip?

Better than using a DSLR specific Tank bag only for a DSLR and may be a few more things.
I prefer carrying it in the carrying case that we get/buy along with the DSLRs and then just put it inside any big Tank bag that can gulp the DSLR along with its carrying arrangement+ some more utility space.

Also while using a magnetic tank bag make sure the magnets do not damage the camera. Using tank bags with Mono-polar magnet can reduce that risk. Had seen the Fly and do not think they have used a Mono-polar magnet in it + stronger the magnets more chances of it damaging the camera or for that matter any electronic gadget.
Cannot risk my DSLR, so best first use the camera specific case and then then bag.

How should I carry my camera without damaging the internals?
Make a cushion of clothes below the camera to reduce vibrations on the camera. Works quite well.

I doubt if there is any DSLR that can be mounted as a Go Pro.. I had once come across a Camera that was retailed by a2z motorcycle in Mumbai that could be mounted on handle bars but again it was more of a digicam than a SLR.
