  • xBhp Universal : Sticker/Graphics thread

    Hi guys,

Just had an accident few days back, and my bike (YZF R15) got many scratches. I had a paint job done, but I'm not getting the original sticker/graphics for my bike. Yamaha dealer told me that it isn't available through company. So is there a way/place/website where I can get the sticker for the tank and front side-panel.

    Thanks.

This is strange !!!! Did you visit the Yamaha factory shop or just yamaha dealer?? I remember, one of my friends got them replaced from Yamaha factory shop when his bike stickers and logos were damaged by someone. Will confirm and let you know.

Yes, I went to the dealer and they told me that graphics/stickers are not available and the only way to get them is by replacing that part/body.

Thanks bro, more than hardwork (carrying parts to painter, dismantling, remantling etc.) it was patience coz the bike was lying idle for almost a month!

I picked up the Yamaha tuning fork logo from a dealer today, they're 49 bucks each, as for the other one if you can't find it, a simple solution would be to get one made, take the image from the net and go to any good place that does these things.

Your paint job on the rims looks pretty sweet, how much did you pay?
Been thinking of doing this on my ride, need a guide line price, though I might paint them myself if I have some free time to do all the prep.

Thanks. Since my price includes painting/lacquer coating of other parts as well, it cannot be taken as a guideline. However, I remember my painter mentioning that he charges around 7-800 bucks for painting rims alone.
Also don't forget to get lacquer coat sprayed after the rim is painted, else it will keep flaking off.
                            All the best!
