Last week I went to Delhi Superbikes showroom in Lajpat Nagar. He said the bike should be coming in 1 week or so. The on-road price is Rs 3.20 !!

as per showroom persons.. the launch date is on 19th in B'lore [Local launch], and display bike will be there, OTR price will be announced there only ... meanwhile for ex-show price visit dsk-hyosung website for B'lore its 2.78L ex-show

The FZ1 model that people get in India looks like the FZ16 only, but the one here look like Fazer 153 with dual lamps and a bikini fairing.

Or, is this a new model for 2012?

Yamaha to design sub US$500 bike

Yamaha is keen to market a sub $500 bike for India and African market to compete in the lower price segment,where lower price and higher volume is the name of the game.Hope Yamaha does not get it's name spoiled with this bike..If this bike comes through it will be priced close to 28,000 in rupees.

I'm doubtful about this Honda, but TMC has a little credible reputation. Other sites are just plain unknown to us.

this thread will remain more or less .... less active now, since it seems nothing much is going to launch this year as most of the imp bikes are already launched. next will be ktm and bajaj 300+cc bikes.

In the US, they don't have the naked FZ1. The European FZ1 Fazer is sold as the FZ1 over there and yes this is a 2012 model.

Thoughts on the next KTM Duke

Hey Guys

Kindly share your thoughts on the following as regards the next KTM Duke which would be launched in India.

1. How much would be the engine capacity. 345, 350, 375 or 400?
2. Engine layout. Single, Twin (parallel or V)?
3. Kerb weight.

Lets keep the price speculations aside. Anyways the pricing would be super reasonable as is with the 200 Duke right?
