Either you're right or Collinite is, because, Collinite promotes 845 as LIQUID WAX & not as (paint) sealant, over & above you were asking to use or another good protecting Wax. Trust me, make such post, shows your knowledge

This came in my mind too that 845 is a liquid wax but chose not to point out with my limited knowledge thinking I might be wrong.
I think what he meant was to use wax to protect the original paint. Wrong choice of words!

Anyways, I have contacted Sanjay from bringingbest to purchase a combo of FK sealant+FK paste wax+Collinite 845.
How much discount do we get from them nowadays? Anybody ordered recently?

This came in my mind too that 845 is a liquid wax

I use one and its one of the best wax polish, easy to apply great on shine.
In fact I use it on my cycle too

My bad, I was typing from a mobile phone and instead of 'and' got it 'like'. Could have just pointed out the mistake rather than making a funny comment and wasting time and web space. And if you are so much into words and have great knowledge you should be knowing that its not LIQUID WAX bu INSULATOR WAX. This is a forum where people learn and I have never claimed to know everything.

You might want to do some more R&D as I have read couple of forums on autogeek, autopia, teambhp etc where more than 1 layer of thin wax is used for better result/protection after letting it treat for 24 hrs. More specifically an Insulator/Protecting wax followed by the detailing/shining/gloss wax. In fact I just did it yesterday on my RE C500. Applied a 2nd layer of Collinite 845 after 20 hrs of 1st layer, and the results was surely an improvement over the 1 layer, but surely not double the impact.

Also, don't think I made a mistake so big to be compared with an act of blasphemy. May be you are way better good and knowledgeable for less learned like us, if so please get another group of highly knowledgeable people to interact with.

An Applicator pad makes a big difference, I learned it recently as earlier used to use the discarded cotton/hosiery material from home.

Good combo if want to use it only for motorcycle. If plan to use it on car also better get more quantities of each, think so, haven't done the calculations :-)

Would recommend the FK high temp if your vehicle is parked in open area without shade

Yeah I will use on bike only, that too which is used occasionally and parked in shade. I guess this should last me for a year or so.

Well next is waxing and polishing..Received the kit I ordered from Sanjay..Reading on how to actually use products..I have the following with me-

1 Bottle FK 215 One Step Cleaner & Surface Sealant
1 Tin Can FK Hi Temp Paste Wax BWM1000
1 Bottle Collinite 845 Wax
2 Eurow Microfibers
2 Armaly QuikPads

Waxpol Scooter polish (orange tin)

How to go about using the above?
Is this ok- Cleaning->Drying->FK Cleaner->FK Paste Wax->Collinite 845
When to use MF cloth and when pads?
