I am not sure of the name but its written bardhal in the bill. No I don't think so it is from Bajaj. Fast in the sense they must have skipped certain things. I don't think so they even change the oil filter as mentioned in the service manual. Can any one advise me how to check whether oil filter has been changed or notLast edited by FREE-RIDER; 03-06-2013, 03:53 PM.

Additive oil just a small white weird shape bottle !Originally posted by pixantz View PostMan, that was fast! You have an idea what the additives were? Somethingnew from bajaj? Never heard of it before. Anyone been to Andheri Sai Service?

Bajaj people used it in all bikes upto P180 & below !
In Delhi, a newbie service center use to add it in my friend's P220 whereas Suman Bajaj, Noida (very professional guys) said its not for P220.
By then I was confused.
We can start this topic in P220 thread !

Hi Guys,
I service my bike at Kanchan Bajaj in Dombivli East. I own a P180 UG2.
Its been almost 6.5 yrs now and I would rate my experience with the auth.svc ctrs as 50:50.
Till date I have been through 3 different auth svc ctrs. I would say that they are good when it comes to new bikes
as the work to be done on new bikes is relatively less. However, when it comes to older bikes like mine they become
stubborn. Its sad that when you try to explain them about a problem , they dont understand. They have been
programmed to think in a pre-set logic and method. They understand that its never like a math equation. They just
follow a fixed trouble-shooting method and don't diagnose the problem correctly.
Plus you get great surprises and shocks from time to time ..... As it happened recently with me.
Off late I only use Motul 5100 15W50 SS oil for my bike. However, during the last svc they somehow managed to put
the BAJAJ DTSI 10000 20W50 oil. I had informed them not use it. Still when I went to get my bike and checked my bill,
it stated Bajaj Oil and that too 20W40 with some engine oil additives. I was like WTF
and why ???? The supervisor
started to say sorry and all that ... then when I was talking to the manager there , i thought of asking him about the
BAJAJ oil (just like that) and as I had expected , he gave me another shocker .... he says that the BAJAJ dtsi oil is full
mineral oil ...
and the supervisor had told me its a SS oil ........ I was like .......grrr GOD save us !
So overall I would say that its a sad state currently almost everywhere. Its high time that Bajaj does something
about it. I really like their models. However, there is no point in launching new and exciting models every now and then
unless they have efficient workforce at their auth svc ctrs. Just my personal view!
Sorry for the long post .......
Regards,
