The sound can never be like a superbike .The sound is lower than the cheap aftermarket exhausts, only when u revs it very high then the sound is a bit high..All i can say about sound is that it is a personal preference..
For me it is fine ,Not really awesome(like a superbike) and Not really annoying( like cheap dubba cans for which u have to use earplug while riding).

1)Yes , i have been using KRP exhaust charger for past 15-20 days...Costed me 4850/-..
                  2) Yes i feel there is a slight increase in power...Moreover the bikes now revs very freely towards the redline...
3)For This see the post above..
4)No , they don't come in black.u have just option of shape ..round or oval... Regarding powder coating no idea..but you can try what u want ...

lets say i reroute the above KRP exhuast under the seat using additional pipe through Al welding and then attach the endcan .. will it give any side effect and will free flowness be affected.

what is ~temp of exhaust [KRP] after intensive ride..is it just warm or at melting point.

i've done some reading up on expansion chambers for two strokes. so we know that, expansion chambers will give you better power than the stock exhaut, but over a very narrow rpm band.

what i'd like to know with respect to rx-135 is, whether its possible to build an expansion chamber that:

                      1. provides the max boost in a user-desired rpm range for e.g. at the rpm band that is required at between 70-80 kmph speed. (this must definitely be possible.)
                      2. provides a modest boost at other rpms or at the very least does not cut power at other rpms.
                      3. still sounds similar to the OEM one, or as close to it. basically one that isn't louder.

just curious if this can or has been done or tried by any fellow members here.
There once was a woman who was quite begat.
She had three babies named Nat, Pat, and Tat.
She said it was fun in the breeding,
But found it was hell in the feeding
When she saw there was no tit for Tat.

u should have allowed a new thread after all this DIY stuff, yeah sure it belong to exhaust.. any way!
                          thanx for approval.
just a suggestion why dont you try removing the cat con of the stock exhaust cause i feel the exhaust is unicorns exhaust is a wee bit restrictive due to the same.

                            Free Flow Exhaust

                            Hi All,

Would request if somone can explain me:
                            1. what exactly is a Free Flow exhaust ?
                            2. How does it increase the performance of a bike ?
                            3. Is there any impact on the engine life if used ?
                            4. Can it be done/made/bought/fitted to any bike ?
                            5. is it available in market (HYD) or do we need to get it made ?

i would really be interested to know all these in details... have heard and read a lot about these...

I hope would definetly get educated about it...

                            Happy riding !!!

It would be great if we could discuss how to build a custom exhaust, instead of just passing out numbers of shops where you can buy them. For a bikers' forum, there is not a lot of DIY in this thread.

I had my freeflow built for my Pulsar UG1 at a local garage. It's a glasspack, and there wasn't a lot of design involved. I just told the guy that I didn't want the huge 1.5 feet long cans that he usually built (cuz that's what most customers wanted) and that I wanted it light, with a big bore, and an extended header for better low-mid rpm power, for use in city traffic. I even used a P200 header, with the bigger Exhaustec can.

I didn't get exactly what I wanted, but it looks pretty good, IMHO. We made some silly mistakes during the fabrication, like filling it up with glasswool before the finishing was done, which meant that the guys at the buffing shop couldn't soak it in acid to remove all the oxidation and blackening from the welding. And the welds are not clean. But this was a good work experience, and I'm thinking of selling this one so I can build the next one better.

On that one, I'll try some baffles and two end cans, to reduce the noise. And I'll use thinner sheet metal to keep the wait down. And before anyone starts about how two cans will be too heavy, I can tell you that the stock exhaust is so heavy that I could probably add three/four cans before it weighs as much. Not that I'm planning to.

I'm thinking I'll do something like the Kawasaki Z1000 exhausts next. Opinions/suggestions anyone?
This sig made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. And if you don't know what that means, you're not old enough to. :D
