  • Comprehensive toolkit for motorcycle maintainance

Hi guys. i need the entire bike tool kit, the ones which the local mechanics have. the T bar set, spanner set, etc etc.... the entire set of tools that's needed to open up and service bikes. Where can i get them?

I desperately need them, cuz, otherwise i need to visit the local mechanics for each and everything. To replace spark plug, to tighten nuts and bolts. And also the ones near my house, put a great scene when i go for something like this, they say that "I am very busy now, come back later" or "I am currently working on a bike, i have no time" they'll be keeping a HH Splendor for a week without actually working on it, and if someone comes for petty things they put on a big scene.

And MODS, thanks in advance for the approval

good to see another Grease Monkey on the Forum. welcome!!

Apart from the tools that you get in the stock tool kit, you can buy the rest of the tools from any good Hardware Shop.

Trust Taparia and Gadore for the tools. Pliers by PYE, spanner set by Genius would do the trick.

      all cheers

What's your budget Gautam? IIRC, if you're looking to buy a decent garage like tools, its going to cost you about 50K right from wrenches, sockets, pliers, cutters, pullers, drivers. Are you planning for a vice too?

Like DCS, says, you can buy from Taparia. But if you're a little quality concious person, then go for Eastman - Eastman Hand Tools, Hand tools from india, exporters of hand tools india, hand tool, hand tools manufacturers, hand tools suppliers, hand tools india, hand tool manufacturers india, industrial tools manufacturers, automotive hand tools, farm hand too

Or if you want the best in the world, get it from Craftsman | America's Most Trusted Tool Brand | Top-Selling Lawn & Garden Brand | Garage & Storage. These are guaranteed for lifetime.

I am gonna get into D.I.Y stuff, i was HEAVILY inspired by u guys and also by the attitude of the mechanics (pisses me off, really) that's the reason i need the tools.. i just need the basic to intermediate Automotive tools, don't need heavy or expert tools like VICE, etc.

You don't get Craftsman in India, unless you convince them to ship one for you here. The cost of a hammer would be around $25 for which you can buy a small tool kit with Eastman. Check out the website of Eastman & find a local dealer near you.

just for the record, try to get the auto slip wrench so that you can easily tighten the bolts.. wil cost about 300 more than the stndard one but is worth the cost and comfort

Suggestion of toolkit and size of tools for motorcycle maintainance

                      Hello Dear All,

I am a newbie in xbhp and I want a suggestion from you all as to what size tool kit and what kind of tools would be necessary to work on my KTM Duke 200 maintainance.
I have been eyeing the Stanley rachet screwdriver kit but not sure if I should take the 1/4th inch or 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch. Morover should I buy a torque wrench too or spanner set would be enough for the job. I have also shared the amazon link for the products I am confused about. Please do suggest me whatever is best. Thanks
