    I have a query...
What is the difference between Ngk (conventional/original) & Ngk G-Power ? Does G-power run slightly hotter or colder as compared to the conventional ngk plug of the same model number (eg. DPR8EA & DPR8EGP) ?

Apart from the conventional, all other plugs are platinum tipped plugs, and the GP IX are just different versions of the same product. Yes a plug that has suffix such as CR8EIX is significantly hotter than a 9 10 or so. The lesser the number the hotter the plug, the higher the number, the colder the plug.

Inquired about CPR7HGP to the rep. As expected, since there is no demand(low GS150Rs on road) CPR7HGP is not manufactured.

I really wish Suzuki GiXXeR to use NGK-CPR7HSA as default plug. Perhaps then the combined count might prompt NGK to roll out CPR7HGP.

        Fingers crossed

        • Spark plugs

Hello there, I needed some help in selecting a proper spark plug for my Bajaj Avenger 220.
I thought of NGK, and checked the site for part finder. But it shows only one plug.
As Avenger is twin spark, I want the proper part number for it.
For Pulsar 220, they have given proper left and right part number, but not for my Avenger

          Help and suggestions please.

Yes they do. The plug insulator length and size do vary, for bikes, but most have the same fundamental properties that are required in a plug. The sleeve length, width all depend on the engine's bore and stroke, so use the right plug, longer or shorter you have trouble.

              Cheers!

If my memory serves me correct, both the plug series are the same in Avenger and 220 for the Conventional, G Power and the Iridium. So they both bikes use the same plugs.

                    Cheers!

I recently rebored my engine, its been 2500kms and heres my spark plug, I replaced many of the major internal parts of the engine, parts alone costed about 11k, but my bike is vibrating a lot all bolts are tightened, I used my old spark plug since I didn't get the g power at the time of rebore.

From what I can relate is that your engine is running very lean. The tip shouldn't be crsytalized white, which means you're running lean, though you'll have good initial acceleration you'll suffer on top end and also lean almost always backfires, and almost always makes the run engine a tad on the hotter side.

You're running on the leaner side, get your AFR checked.

                                Cheers!
