    Universal Thread Approved.

Thanks for posting this thread. I remember it reading it in the 'old' xBhp. I hope Mael has become an expert in riding that off-roader now!

Thanks for the Approval Aryan. It was there on the "older crashed" xbhp. Wanted to put it back for future reference of all concerned in case riders/bikers here need to look at it.

I am Young and Dashing, occasionally riding a Sbk. Fireblade? Nah. A smaller more discreet smarter and faster R1. And I am just 19... forever.

Thanks. And yes, I will keep updating on the progress. This weekend I may go around taking some interesting pix on difficult terrain where he might even fall...

Nah! I am not the perfect father or anything. I am just trying to have fun. And in the process my son is having fun with me. And yes... dream on, for only in the power of dreams is there the possibility of realising them.

Thanks All. Will be putting up updates pretty soon.

Wow Ken bhaiya, what a nice initiative. I saw the article earlier, but the memories are refreshed now.

Ken bhaiya, you are one great "coach + father" I have seen. Really, the kid must be proud of you... I wish I had such a fatherly figure above me, then I would have been riding hard upto now.

Well, it seems under-geared after those small wheels, but I guess at this age (8), undergearing is better, than making it capable of high-speeding. So, Mileage must be like 8 kmpl or something??

Anyways now, that he can ride on his own, atleast you don't have to manage wheelies as a Pillion, do you?

When he is 16, don't forget to tell him to join Xbhp. We would love to talk to him.

Like father, like son! Mael will soon prove that he is a chip of the old block!
The way you were teaching him reminds me of my Uncle (a biker in his days) teaching me to ride the Hero Puch at the age of 8.
I will also teach my son in the same way. Luckily they will have better machines than what we had!
