To be honest I wouldn't recommend ripping the throttle on FI bike after first km. The way I do it is to leave on idle for as long as it takes for the rpm to drop from usually 2k to 1.3k (on most FI bikes) that helps circulate oil properly and brings the bike to normal running temperature. Then I take it slow with about 20% throttle until I go through all the gears once. Then pick up speed in each gear gradually instead of ripping. Usually 6 minutes total out of which roughly 5 minutes on the move and a minute roughly while standing still. Even FI bikes are prone to cold seizures and critical component failure if just ripped as you mentioned.Originally posted by Zapps View Post
