  • Track Days - Universal Thread

I ve created this thread to post your idea's , dates , pictures, member list and all for the coming track days. The other thread is getting a bit crowded, so why don't we discuss the upcoming trackdays, and details here. To start with sajiv is checking which all dates the track is free, this month. let's decide on a good date and hit the track, and let's try to attend atleast one every month.

This can be for track days at chennai and coimbatore as well. but unfortunately we don't have a pay and practise like in chennai at coimby..

so when is the next dday guys?? 19th?

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR THE TRACK DAY / RIDER BRIEFING

These are a set of instructions that should be followed during the event to avoid unnecessary confusions at the venue. These are NOT rules being imposed on anyone. These are instructions given to the riders for their safety.
        1. Everyone should be wearing a riding jacket with elbow and shoulder protectors. A minimum of denim jackets with elbow sliders worn on them.
        2. Gloves are mandatory for any rider planning to ride on the tracks.
        3. Shoes which cover the ankle must be used. Snickers are not entertained.
        4. Use of a knee and shin slider or a knee guard is recommended.
        5. The visor of the helmet should always be closed when riding on the track.
        6. Everyone should go around the tracks only in the clockwise direction (Even in the pits) to avoid confusion and any mishaps.
        7. If a person is willing to come into the pits, he should sit up raise one of his hands after exiting the final corner. This is to indicate the rider behind of your intentions.
        8. When a rider enters the race track from the pits, he is to look behind (at the entry of c1) and then enter the track after everyone is gone.
        9. Hooliganism will not be entertained at any point of time. Remember we are not going there to race, but to know about track riding.
        10. If you have any experts on your tail (e.g.: Killer, Joel) try to give way and learn their lines by observing them.
        11. Overtaking is to be done in proper racing style to avoid any accidents, i.e. an overtaking maneuver is to be carried out strictly on the racing line to avoid collision. This clearly explains that one can overtake if the rider in front fails to apex a corner.
        12. Borrowing bikes is allowed only on mutual agreement. Under a condition

        * The emergency contact details is mandatory for every rider below the age of 19.
