Well a brief description of the event is as follows...
Out side the complex was the diplay of the indian bikes such as the p220,stunner and the r-15..
Greeting the public just after the security check was the YAMAHA MT01,the PORSHE CAYMAN S,the HAYABUSA 2009 and some vintage cars among which was a very small and (obviously) old ROLLS ROYCE..
and as we enter the hanger, the very common MARUTI is being exhibited...
(guess why the choose that !!!)
and then there were several companies which include
MARUTI
HUNDAI
HONDA
FORD
VOVLO
BMW
AUDI
MERC
BAJAJ
YAMAHA
HONDA 2 WHEELERS
TOYOTA
CHEVROLET
etc
there were not many cars, the merc had only 3,where as there r more than 6 models for sale in the showrooms near u,and this was the case with all the international brands...
whereas the indian brenda had all their cars showcased..
the show stoppers..
the AMG tuned MERCEDES CL 63,wat a sight it was..
the MERCEDES SLK 200,
AUDI TT QUATTRO,
BMW 650i,
the massive BMW 730ld,
the HONDA ACCORD V6,
the race equipped YAMAHA R-15 and the FZ-16,
the YAMAHA MT-01 and the HAYABUSA,
PORSHE CAYMAN S

there were few(maybe many) dissapointments..

there were not many international brands apart the one's we see on the roads daily...like the JAGUAR,LAND ROVER,FERRARI,R8,RR PHONTOM,BENTLY
there was only one PORSHE shown..
HONDA did not display it's cbu imports the FIRE BLADE and the CBR1000
as well as the R1,the INTRUDER which are available in india...
edit:how could i forget this...
the bajaj was like a cr*@p show...
all the bikes were blue(that was fine),and along with them were gals(aunty's maybe) in the same bright sarees dominating the bikes,so much that i couldn't take a pic as i did not want them in the pic..
whereas in the other stalls there were gals looking fine( not so gorgeous though
) ) weraing skirts and stuff... and yamaha had 4 guys who couldn't speak proper english... it took me 15 min to ask them if the racekit parts would be available seperately... on a scale of 100,and this being an "INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW" i
would rate it 60...
but atleast for a start it was nice even though no conceprts were shown(like the honda concept cbf bikes in the delhi expo),looking foreward for more stuff to come in the future to the city....
