whats the difference between these three and which one should i get ?
Go for the Iridum IX... better fuel efficiency is the main thing u will notice... they say good throttle response, no cold starts etc. etc...

I Recently came across the twin headed spark plug from Bosch and im a curious to know that how far is this Spark plug performance oriented, is it worth fitting on my bike ?
Is it a direct fit ?
Will i experience changes after its installation ?
Or is there some other spark plug anyone of u can recommend for my uni ?

    Thanking ya'll in anticipation.
I own a suzuki fiero and when the tie up with suzuki went i was left with no supply of ngk spark plugs and when unicorn came i switched over to its plug NGK CPR8EA .I have tried the bosch twin electrode plug too i rode it for just a couple of kms and i immediately felt the diff .The bike responded well initially .But i noticed that engine noise had gone up meaning engine was heating up and causing the oil to loose its viscosity. So i decided to switch back to my stock plug.
So yes ,you can put bosch twin electrode plug .But the prob is uni plug is of diff make .
My advise would be to stick with the stock plug and if you do want to change over ,then STICK WITH NGK ,because HEAT RANGE IS EVERYTHING IN PLUGS ! if you mess around with it ,you will be harming your engine. Its as simple as that !.There is no standard among diff makers for this heat range because of tech differences etc.
If you do want to play around and see .Then stick with the same manufacturer and the number in the plug CPR8 indicates heat range and bigger the number cooler the plug .So if you want to change ,then change to a plug which has a higher number than 8 that way at least you will be erring on the safer side by going for a cooler plug than making the HUGE mistake of getting a hotter plug.
Reading spark plugs is a science and its better left to EXPERT TUNERS.
YOU CAN MESS AROUND WITH OILS.But not with the plug as its at the heart of your engine and will cause max harm if messed up with.
NOTE: BOSCH twin electrode is also protruding one .Protruding plugs are hotter.

I am currently running in my bike with the stock plug .Which is NGK CR7E and i have been using the iridium plug for the fiero which is CR7E IX.
My experience is that iridium plug performs better .It produces better and consistent spark arc and i have been getting better mileage and engine is smooth too.
I am no expert and that's my penny's worth.

Again, thats not a problem for the plug. In fact I'd think you'd wear it out faster with slower riding in lower gears. Also, at your speeds, the plug would be in self cleaning range for most of the time.

The Iridium's may be better but the nickels aren't that bad either.

    ALSO
no offense to the people who don't uses IRIDIUMS or don't believe in it.
M not a salesperson from NGK getting commission from every sale, it's just that wat i feel. I felt a clear difference on my RTR and also while driving other RTR, i can still feel the CLEAR DIFFERENCE.

@Rookster: Well as long as it has the same spark strength, well and good, but u'll hav to check it for urself if its a direct fit. Just do a google search on performance of twin headed plugs.

I'm not ridiculing them. They make it sound all very logical and scientific... and they are good at making money. If you or anybody else wants to fall for it, its entirely your call. I stick to what I'v said. If people here are getting confused between contradicting views, they can always try out both. But then the problem is that very few seem to be taking an objective view. Most seem to believe that just because a plug is more expensive, it has to perform that much better. Or someone passes a comment like he has had no problem for x km, etc., etc. Its a given that you can't arrive at any accurate conclusion with such beliefs. If anybody thinks stuff is so simple, then nobody can stop him from thinking so. Sorry but I'm not impressed with something just because it carries a big name. But I guess many are impressed... and its their right to do so.
