    @ richard

i suggest first you go for an aftermarket air filter + jetting rather than free flow+jets +stock filter

then you can go for the free flow later on

you can go for automech or tectrac

    tectrac being the best

and you can get complete roll-on chain sets for sproceting including the chain+sprockets
Chrome rims and bling ? get a real life !

Not necessarily! I've been using Automech on my Classic for past 1.5 yrs. From looks, sound to performance, absolutely no problems! See, i never say any of them best. Opinions vary from ppl to ppl. Let the buyers/owners decide for themselves.

Nope. Just the main jet. Just make sure to go for a better air-filter setup. And secondary, make sure the fitting and carb tuning is done by someone good. Coz, unexpected results can happen afterwards, if not done properly..
            Good Luck...

Could you please elaborate a bit. My ride is a P200 which has clocked some 85XX Kms. The top speed done till date is a 120 and with a crouch about 125. I've read a lot about people touching 130, 135, 140 etc. What are these "descent mods"? Anything besides the KnN filter as the bike is still in it's warranty period.

Besides, a couple of days ago I got rid of the snorkel on top of the Filter Box just for the grunt. Would that effect performance in anyway? I read a query on another topic about the same, but no answer. Is it advisable to ride without the snorkel? Does it lead to overheating?

                Thanks in advance guys

Apart from Automech, my classic has NGK Plug, K&N, Custom Jets and polished head and shaft. Apart from these, the remaining are still stock.
and btw, i gifted the bike by re-decorated accordingly. Lemme post some pics along with the detailed report on its performance.

And about, the gain, i say the response and mid-range has improved alot. Plus, the bike sounds damn sweet!

140kmph seems atleast to me a bit too ambitious, and probably would'nt be safe too (who knows i may be wrong too), but even if the bike can be made to go at 140kmph one has to make sure that you make it back from that speed in one piece, during high speed runs i've noticed that the bikes height plays spoilsport and easily upsets the balance of the bike if there are interfering winds, so if anyone has done it on their P200 i'm listening

Wait till the warranty period is over and then go and get a properly tuned exhaust, a proper exhaust does wonders to the P200's pathetic low-end and boosts the mid-range comfortably more than an 220's, KnN suits some people and not so well with others, patience and regular tuning is necessary

Is'nt the snorkel on top of the air-box sort of moulded with the air-box as one piece? well IMO taking the snorkel won't be making much of a difference, since it's put there since the air-box can allow only so much air passing through it, anything more probably would probably not change anything as the extra air is only going to go waste, if you force-feed air then there are chances of the engine stressing

No mate it isnt. It's just glued on the top of the air box which can be just pulled off and fixed back with some araldite.

Well as someone as said...THE REAL MODS CANT BE SEEN...

Let me get to my question..my friend recently had this NGK iridium plug on his HONDA DIO...it seemed to be going good for a few days but later a strange thing happened...
Whenever he used to go full throttle the chord connecting to the plug used to get detatched...is it because this bike doesn't support the plug...??
