I don't think there will be HL2 EP3 .....

There will be an EP3, but its taking much longer than expected, apparently will not release in 2010.

Right now I am having problems as the NFS-Shift is not running smooth with 512MB GPU, 2.53 Core2Duo and 4GB memory . Any soutions?

i have also played certain games which were indeed good (Indiana Jones, 007 night fire) but the recent ones which i have played on ps2 were really disappointing.

Not always though. The last AvP game, which released in 1999 was a real GOOD game.

Aliens vs. Predator (the new one) is out, but, sadly it seems to not have garnered much acclaim from the revieweres. However, I am surely going to try it out (the demo first!).

I have, ran OK for me though, till i got bored from moving between cities to eavesdrop on conversations

its working now.... previously i was clicking on the desktop short-cut which gave some kind of error.. so went into the game directory and found multiple EXEs over there.. .clicked on one of them and viola... the game runs just fine.....

Doesn't matter. Even sharing of OEM games is illegal. I thought being a gamer, you would know this.
