A 22 inch display will have a resolution of 1920x1080 or thereabouts. That kind of display requires serious graphics power to run games at good settings. So, passe or not, a smaller monitor is the way to go for a budget build.200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

Go with Gigabyte MA785GMT-USB3 cost ard 5.5k
Thanks a lot guys for reply.
I choose AMD phenom as a CPU.
Now, what monitor size should i go for? what about GPU?
For board should i stick with gigabyte or any thing else?
No clr opinion on dis!
It has latest features like USB 3.0, e-SATA, HDMI, Firewire.
Go with 22incher which are quite cheap nowadays
Benq e2200hd for 7.7k
and for gpu get hd5770 as tanay suggested.
@tanay
Native resolution of 22 incher is 1680X1050 if he goes with non-hd 22incher.
But even on a full hd 22 incher,playing games on 1680X1050 have no difference due to smaller screen size.I am telling this from my personal exp.Moniters are not changed regularly so he should go with bigger size rather than getting 19 or 17inch.Last edited by d@rk nemesis; 06-26-2010, 11:51 PM.

The PSU will run will the card but I wouldn't recommend it. You dont want to take chances with a new card do you? Change to atleast a Gigabyte 460W Supreme Power supply. It's around 2150/-. Also look for the Ati 5750. It's at par with the 4850(a bit faster to be precise),consumes less power and has DX11 support. It will be a bit more future proof.Originally posted by thmh201 View PostHi guys...I have decided to buy ati 4850 card as it comes under my budget...sp road price is rs6800...i have amd 5200+ 64 X2..and asus m2n68am mobo...i have Mron 450W atx smps..i know its not a good one...but still can i play modernwarfare 2 and gears of war in that card? plz advice..

Nope.It's just the Power Supply. With a 17'' monitor you wont notice the difference between 4850 or 5750. Go for whichever one you prefer.Originally posted by thmh201 View Postdoes the Gigabyte 460W Supreme Power supply come wit the cabinet? and i have 17" crt monitor...sigpic

The more you spend, the more performance you'll get. If you like to run games with max details and AA/AF then spend the most you can.200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER
