Oops! Sorry, I haven't played World of Warcraft, although I have tried playing Warcraft-II and III but didn't quite find it as interesting as other games in the same league..

Probably anvancy or someone else might just have it. You never know.

The enhanced edition of Witcher seems to be a great addition and this is perhaps what 'The Witcher' originally should have been in the first place. I personally loved the game, although I did not finish the whole of it. Would love to get my hands on the enhanced version.

As of now, I am still waiting for 'Crysis - Warhead' to arrive at the video game mecca of Delhi..
i got the updated version to download from torrents. works fine in my vista PC too.
though i bought the first edition (illegal ofcourse) and it didnt work on vista even after downloading the patch. so had to dump the CD! wonder why i bought it on first place!

I have been trying to check these things on the internet , for voltage u get a step down to bring voltage down to 110 for us electronics , NTSC-PAL wont make a problem as TV's now support all the formats ..... the only thing remaining is the DVD region lock , i hope it wont be a problem after u get it hacked/cracked ....

If you happen to know someone who own a US version , do let me know.
nik, my friend has a us 360 and he didnt face any region lock problems.
i dont know which one i own but i did end up with the 3 red light problem. according to the manual, the step down adapter has 3 lights - red, orange and green. green means that the voltage is good, orange means standby and red means obviously, problem. mine has been in orange all the time. tried connecting it at many places but its always in orange!
but thankfully, after getting the problem, i didnt have my chip cracked so got the complete set replaced.
i had enquired on getting it cracked, would cost you 2.5k in bangalore and chennai.

I knew the Tages protection was screwing people all over. And this is a lovely game...like Oblivion, only better I guess. (Although they copied and modified my signature : "There is no good, no evil - only decisions and consequences". But then it's a nice thing to know. More people think like me. ) So I went and bought the legal version. Anyhow, I see no point in gambling 75-100 rupees for a CD/DVD to see if it works at all. That too from shady characters. I decided to buy originals whenever possible of the games that genuinely entertain me from a long time back. As for games that are unavailable or not lauched in apna Bharat, or just not worth the cash, there are always "seeds" willing to help.

Oh and even if Crysis Warhead sounds a great buy, do any of you guys still play the old Farcry? If you guys do, I have made some fun stuff with the game's physics. It will make the ragdolls a bit more "entertaining". Nothing like a little comedy now and then in the heat of the action, eh? Just let me know if anyone wants it, and a place to host. A thing to note though, it makes the weapons very powerful!

Also, is WoW worth spending hard earned cash on? I mean there are lots of free MMORPGS there which might even be better that that thing. Take for example "Voyage Century Online" kick ass game with excellent economy and a PLETHORA of "operational fields" or "jobs" to develop and master. And it doesn't limit you to a class. You can develop all skills!. Well all upto level 32. Therafter you choose seven specialities. And you get to be the captain of your own ships - three classes in that too - Battle, Scout and Trader class. Each upgradeable to 10 levels! And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I am not promoting this game, but well I play that and I couldn't find any Indian there to play with, even though going solo is "amusing" enough.

PS : Does anyone know of any defragmenting utility that has multiple passes and options to rearrange files and folders according to one's preferences? Norton Systemworks 2003 had one. But it's obsolete now and it worked on Win 98.

            Cheers and regards,
            Sonnu.

                  nope.

                  check the providers or torrents.

crysis warhead is nothing but a simple lazy revamp of crysis itself to hog your pc even more.

I dunno how much of a OnTopic/OffTopic thing this would be here, but yesterday, I attended TGS2008 - Tokyo Game Show 2008. Mostly to do with console gaming, these people do not seem to be so much into PC games.

The show however was awesome, and hugely crowded.

There were stands put up by the Japanese Majors showing off there latest and greatest, and then there were EA and MS with their games and X360 respectively.

Tried a few games there - NFS Undercover on PS3, a three minute demo play - not much in control as the analog controller of the PS3 was a new thing for me....

Also tried out a Multiplayer shooter - again on a PS3 and it totally isn't my thing what with the right analog controller to control the direction of view and the left to move. Love my mouse and keyboard.

Overall, had an TOTALLY AWESOME, but eventually tiring day.

PS. there were booth babes there too, check out my flickr link below. :P
