    Electra or Thunderbird

    So I have to choose between Electra and Thunderbird. They have same specs. I am slightly inclined towards Electra but I have the following questions -

    1. I like to go on long trips; is Thunderbird seating much better than Electra or just marginally better?

    2. Does Thunderbird have better rear tires than Electra? Is it possible to fit this tire in Electra?

    ps: there are similar threads, I didnt want to hijack them

      TBTS is better for touring compared to Electra cuz of the the seating and riding position. If you are more inclined towards long tours and that encompasses the better part of your riding then go for the T-Bird or else go for Electra. But then it all comes down to what you like.
      Decide and lets us know.Btw welcome to the brethren of thumpers.

        Thunderbird is much MUCH more comfortable than electra for touring.

          Hi.Go for TBTS.You will like it,if like to go on long trips.I myself have a thunderbird 2003 model and its very comfy in highways and easy to ride in city traffic.As for the tyres,both have same ones.You can go for radial tubeless tyres if you want to.
