  • Hero Honda Splendor plus or CD deluxe with selfstart

    Hi friends,

    This is my first post.

Want to buy a bike for my father. Will be up and down about total of 10 to 20 km daily. Budget maximum Rs. 45,000.
It will be driven in village area, mostly rough road.

In my mind 2 bikes are there, but confused in between them.

    1. Hero Honda Splendor plus
    2. Hero Honda CD deluxe with selfstart

    or

There is any other better bike available in this budget.

Please put our valuable input in this regard.

    Thanks in advance.

Splendor plus lacks the self-start. Since both of them have same engine, performance will be same. It is better you opt for CD-Deluxe.

You may also look for Discover 100cc DTS-Si. It has DC lighting which will be better for village roads & mileage is ~75kmpl. Which will make fuel bills short. Seats are very comfortable in these three bikes.

          My call, Discover 100cc DTS-Si or CD-Deluxe.

The new CD-Deluxe has added air intake valve to meet the new BSIII norms , so NOW it same as splendor plus engine . It also has lighter weight , better
headlamp , Electric start and lower cost than splendor . My new ( two mnths old ) splendor plus gives me 56 kmpl , while friends Cd Deluxe gives 63 kmpl , all in low gear city driving . Splendor plus has more proportionate looks .
In the same price & usage range I would suggest you take a look at the yamaha crux . It is clearly superior in performance to any other basic 100cc bike , I know because I used to own one .

i think u should go for an activa or access.......these scotters are very light...economy is also good....under seat storage....and storage box in front makes it a best deal..

U can also see Discover 100...a1 economy...DC headlamps...maintanance free battery..

n if u want to choose between splendor+ n CD deluxe wait for 1 or 2 months...new variant of splendor is coming go for that....

Choose between Discover 100 & Splendor Pro.. surely Discover 100 gives better mileage...both have self start as standard and discover has dc electricals, which is advantageous. My vote goes to Discover 100!!

Brought Bajaj Discover 100 cc with self start. Everything is good except uncomfortable seat for long rides.
