go for FZ if u want to concentrate on the word "smooth"

if u can afford to miss it in order to get more power and acceleration, then RTR is what u should go for... coz it is a RAW&ROUGH power

you didnt mention the purpose of the bike
whether you'll be using it for long touring
you love racing or pleasurable riding?

For pillion i think you should go for the Dazzler- Smooth Bike!
Or Else Apache's are always there to shake your spine

if you are ok with low FE & don't care about racing much then go for FZ, but new hunk is coming in market as well, & i guess it'll be a better option for you.

I think Cbz X will be anyday better than FZ as it suits your requirements.Cbz X has got unicorn derived engine which is ultra smooth,got 14.4bhp,FE is also descent && its a HeroHonda so build quality is bullet proof.Pillion comfort is better than FZ.Maintenance is also very less compared to FZ.

PS:Cbz X also holds great resale value than FZ

maintenance isnt high.. its a myth trust me. yamaha has the same if not better quality than HH or honda.. fz is the best bike in city. FE depends on the way you drive. pillion comfort is fine as long as its not your mom who is riding with you. with such a awesome machine who would wanna sell it?
