  • New bike to be purchased?

Hi, I am in search of a new bike for me and at the same time my dad should be comfortable to use the same bike with a budget of about 40K-50K.

    My Height : 5'10
    Weight : 68

    1. Some amount of daily community(To be able to ride v nicely in city conditions like Mumbai)
    2. Comfortable to ride
    3. Good Looks.
    4. Great Mileage.
    5. Good After Sales Support(Availability of Spares)
    6. Low Maintenance.

For me looks does matter and the same time my dad should be in a position to use the same bike as well.

      Try test riding Mahindra Stallio.
It is cheap and good in looks. M2W claims good mileage and I am sure considering how agrresive they are to built a space in the Motorcycling World, I am sure they will have a good network of dealers and Spare parts.

          budget is 40-50k.
So GS should not be on the list.I think you actually mean Sling Shot.
and why not a Honda CB twister? without disk brakes,it costs 49k.

Yes. Do check out the Yamaha SZ. A friend recently purchased the SZ. He had a similar budget as yours.

Yep right, although a stretch would be worth the suzuki...

Why NOT the twister - The plastic powered twister would be too much for his dad.. hence suggested sober looking and vfm bikes...

If your budget is strictly 50K & below, you will be having choices of Discover,TVS Start City,Splendor Pro & Nxg, Yamaha YBR110.

Also SZ-X's petrol tank is on the bigger side, which will make you lean a little forward while driving. If your travel is more that 40KM's a day, better choose a bike which has good straight seating position.

How about Pulsar bikes? 135LS? Any other suggestions are welcomed. @Ashwin, If the petrol tank is heavier, How is the handling? It must be heavy isn't it?
