  • Confused 160 or 180

Hi guys going to buy a bike this diwali.I am terribly confused between the new apache hyperedge 160 and the Apache 180.I love performance so i nearly finalized for the 180 but now many guys are saying the 160 would be an better option in terms of mileage ,low maintenance cost and its hassle free as well.Even the tvs guys are pushing for the 160 for the reasons above and saying that 180 has some problems regarding its magnet coil.I don't know what the magnet coil is?Please guys help me out of this and let me know that whether 180 has got problems as i don't want to visit service centres frequently.

dude, as u've already posted your problem in RTR180 ownership thread, you need not to create separate threads... not discouraging you for making threads, but all I meant by saying this is that you'll get the best information about in only in the ownership thread as everyone who owns an RTR180 and is active on xBhp visits that thread, so, more chances of getting replies than individual threads.

P.S. I've already replied you in the ownership thread that I'll recommend u RTR180 if you can afford the mileage

If mileage is not ur constraint, then you can go for A180 with ur eyes closed

FYI, A180 gives 40+ if u follow the run-in instructions properly...

if you need the edge in performance, the 180 still rules. If you care for fuel efficiency and dont give a damn to that edge, go for the Hyperedge

Thanks to all for replying.I have ridden both of the bikes and will take a test ride tomorrow..I am convincing my dad for the R15 as my gf loves it but high maintenance cost is an issue. But i will be happy with any of these beasts.

i am very weak in Physics but i know how to CTRL C & CTRL V so here you go-

An electromagnetic coil (or simply a "coil") is formed when a conductor (usually an insulated solid copper wire) is wound around a core or form to create an inductor or electromagnet.
