  • Hero Honda Hunk - how is it?

    Hi,

I am planning to buy 150cc bike, which i will be using around 40kms daily.

Initially i zeroed on Honda CB Unicorn. But it has a waiting period of 3-4 months, which is too high. The dazzler, not having a kick start is a problem for me, because i dont know how reliable the self start would be. What if it doesnt work on cold mornings.

Then i saw CBZ xtreme and Hunk. I liked the way Hunk looks. But, i haven't seen Hunk much. I remember it is in the market for quite some time. Is it a failure model?

Also, please suggest if Hunk is better bet than CBZ xtreme.

the dazzler, the hunk and the cbz-x share the same engine.
the major difference in the hunk and the cbz-x bikes is mostly aesthetic(with the exception of a GRS in a hunk) the dazzler however is a tuned differently and is more of a power commuter than any thing else
both HH bikes are very reliable and owners like me will definately swear by them.
if you're looking for a good biking experience and are not satisfied with the cbz's looks then hunk is definately for u.
personally i think u can make do with a dazzler as well(if you're not in college i mean) as i seriously doubt the cold start issue....
have u checked out the gs150r? ppl here have been talking oodles bout it...
      The purpose of biking -
100cc- to get from point A to point B
      125cc- to get there fast
150cc- to have some fun while getting there
200+cc- to start from point A and forget when point B passed by

It's not the ride but the rider that matters!

the hunk is a good bike.. but it comes with its own set of limitations but thats because hero honda has tuned it... its set for milage rather than outright performance.. however, if you need outright top speed, look elsewhere. but uptill 80 kmph, hunk is the best 150 cc with nice torque, good average, nil maintainance etc etc..

but do test ride the dazzler

The hunk is a bit tuned for better mileage & the CBZ is tuned for better power. The hunk is not a failure model neither it is a huge success. Its just able to generate enough no.s

The dazzler or GS150R would be the best for all your requirements.

GS150R, the best of the lot currently, since Unicorn's got too long a waiting period.

Hunk is one of the best looking bike in 150 cc category and add to that great HH after sales service....will recommend Hunk
