I own the Honda CBF Stunner and I find it is probably the best 125cc bike. Here are my thoughts on the bike along with photos in posts 3 and 5 in this page.

I was pinned down on buying the Yamaha Gladiator before the Stunner released just in time to pull me towards it. As I said in that page, there are only 2 bikes to consider - Gladiator and Stunner. Shine would have counted but the Stunner basically houses the same engine along with a host of improvements including better mileage (a bigger price tag though).

If price is not a concern, then the Stunner is the best bike in the 125cc class. The power delivery is just a tad better than the Gladiator (which my friend owns) and the mileage I got after the first service ranges from 55-60 kmpl which is very good for a 125cc. It might even go up to 65kmpl if you can maintain it better is my opinion.

Although the Gladiator is only 52k whereas the Stunner is 60k for the Disc-ES version which I find is bit overpriced for its class. However, if you can afford it, then the Stunner is the best in class (and I am not saying this just because I own the bike ). However, if 8k more is too much, then the Gladiator is not a bad choice.

8 grand equates to roughly 140ltrs of petrol..
Unless a gladiator gives a mileage of 15kmpl or so, i don't see the fuel average being an issue with the gladiator
However.. Price tag aside, the Stunner is a better bike for sure...
