Hi ,

I am planning to buy one of R or ZMR .
Had test ride of both , liked handling of R better , but decided
to take ZMR for its looks and goodies.

I have following doubts about the two :-
About ZMR :-
1)Have heard that it has a heating problem , is it true ?If yes, how worse is it ?
- ZMR gets heated fast since it has full fearing. This issue is there till about 4000 to 5000Km after that this reduces. In peak of summer in heavy traffic it gets pretty hot, rest of the time its managable. I heard this heating issue is there in all full fearing bikes!
2) I had a test ride on a 5000 kms run ZMR , I could hear the vibrations
of fairing . Is this easily fixable or will it keep on nagging throughout ?
- My ZMR is about 6000 KM's old and i dont have any vibration in my bike
3) How is the handling as compared to R ? During test ride I felt R has a better handling and comfortable sitting than ZMR.
- Even i felt R engine smoother compared to ZMR. ZMR has more responsive engine since it has FI
4)I saw some of the ZMR owners facing problems with self start on xbhp. Does it have any such major issues with battery or self start?
- Not even a single day i had this issue!
5)Does this require frequent maintanence as compared to ZMR n how high is its maintanence cost as compared to ZMR ? Does the new technology like PGMFI and rear disc adds up a lot to the maintenance and long term ownership cost ?
- ZERO Maintenance cost for me apart from the regular service. I have paid for some accessories but these are optional!
6)What is the mileage difference in city between these two bikes ? How much mileage can I expect from R and ZMR in city ?
- ZMR gives better mileage compared to R since it has FI. I can't confirm since i dont have ZMA but for ZMR you can expect anywhere between 35 to 40 depending upon the riding condition.

About R :-
1)Dim headlights - does the more wattage bulb fix this problem,if yes how much will they cost ?
- Should be possible to upgrade. Can't confirm
2) Tubed tyres - I really prefer tubeless over the normal ones,do we have tubeless tyres coming for R . If yes, how much will they cost ?
- ZMR is your choice then!
