  • Bike for my DAD

    Dear all X-Bhpian,

    First thanx for your all valuable mantras for my previous posts.
    My Dad using a HH street since 1998.It run almost 1.5L KM.So now a days the machine makes some mechanical noise.I gose to HH service center.They said it cost around 8K to repair.So i suggest him to change with Honda or Suzuki or TVS scooters.But he is not at all satisfied with this scooters due to their small tyre size.As from the very begining he is very passionate about his Step Theru HH.He also tried the TVS Jive.But he dose not like looks.He dose not want to avail a bike in the age of 63.As very recntly i here to know that TVS launch TVS Rockz/ Neo in India By march 2011.So Pls Let me know the cost of the vechile or any pic.so my dad can easly take decision that he wait for TVS or he restore his existing machine..so pls sujjest your best.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Manas D Biker

                50 + kms daily on 50 + (or - ) age its advisable to take a scooter or a bike as step thru's and mopeds doesnt offer the required level of comfort to travel that far
                i would recommend you to look at some where in the tvs star city or jive range.

                    If your Dad wants to get a bike for himself then I would suggest the TVS Star City or the Bajaj Discover 100cc for him...

                    Both bikes will be comfortable and will have good fuel efficiency.
                    Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

                      Ask him to TD the discover100cc he definitely would like it more than other ones in market ;it has longest wheel base in it's segment longer broader comfortable seat ;All Dc;so not to worry much on electricals front ,it does come with self start option , FE is also very good in comparision with the competitors ;OTR price will be somewhere around 51k ; trip meter ,battery malfunction indicator ;
