    Hii guyz..
I really liked this site =) thanks for the administrator for this

actually i am a college going person and now ned a bike badly.. dad approved and asked my choice and its really tough to get through it.

I am 5'8 and around 68-70Kg with quite athletic body structure.
please tell me which bike i should prefer. my college is 21 Km away from home.
so 5-7Km in city and 15-17 km on highway..

I need a bike with stylish sporty looks having mileage too..
my first choice is karizma R but people say to leave the idea of purchasing it due to its mileage giving just 35kmpl :-(

so my second choice is apache rtr 180.. the place where i live (faridabad, NCR) have few bikes..so i dnt knw much abt it.. is this bike reliable.? is there any problem with this bike.?

please help me out.. i have to purchase it in next 2 weeks..

    regards :-)

all 3 bikes have different characters. P220 and Karizma both will have around same mileage depending upon your riding style from 30 to 40kmpl. style-wise also both are same, sporty. But Karizma is more a tourer-type and P220 is more a sportier-type. RTR 180 is more a track bike. Mileage 35-45kmpl. So nothing much difference.

i would say if you like P220 go for it. You can try P220 S which is without the Fairing and Projector Lamps if you are Ok with that. It will cost you less. IF not P220 than you can think of Karizma for its tested and proven engine smoothness. Don't think of RTR 180 only becoz after sometime you will be shot of power and speed. and when you can get a better power bike is same range of RTR 180 then why not go for P220.
Its upto you which to by.

if mileage is the top most priority then choose between Apache RTR 180 and Pulsar 180 dtsi.
        you just cant expect a 45+ from a 220cc or a 225cc bikes.

as most of time you will be driving on hghway, then even a karizma - R will give you 38-42 mileage.

          consider ZMA-R and make your decision soon as price of ZMA-R is going to be 82,000 from 77,000.{infact all bikes}

Hi there, Among these 3 bikes, RTR will give the highest mileage if operated in standard conditions but with not much difference from others. RTR can fetch you 40 KMPL where others can 35!
RTR is a good sporty bike under 200 CC. Reliable?? ummmm. somewhat, it is anyway manufactured by a company who is pretty new into serious bike business. People dont even like its TVS tires.
Off course higher the cc lower the mileage but it is not directly proportinate that way. It is how the engine is tuned, there are torque and power come into play.
All these bikes are reliable in terms of handling and performance and all of these have their own pros and cons.
When you want a bike that has good sporty features, why to worry for the mileage?
My personal suggestion is ZMR if you want to stick to these.
Otherwise why don’t you check out Pulsar 180? It has sporty looks too, comes with same 120 wide rear tire as 220, has tank scoop, 1d4u gear, clip on handle, self start only, 220 front fork.
Mileage is 45+ under standard riding conditions!

You need to see the cons in all the above machines and see which is too much inconvenient for you and then take decision.

Not really! If you have ridden RTR 160 then you wont feel any vibes in RTR 180 till 4500RPM after which the vibes slowly creep in!

                      Hey bro,

If you like the RTR180, go for it. It is a dynamite. All that usable low end and mid range punch helps in overtaking. It's got average build quality. My friend has a RTR160FI and has had no problems so far. Only thing is that you have to manage with vibes. There are people who love the vibes and take it as a fun factor and there are people who hate vibes as one may feel irritated. So it depends on which type you are. The brakes will bite you hard at times but once you get used to it you'll have no problem. Mileage I have no idea!

P220 is a great bike anyday but since you don't like it let me leave it.

Karizma is worth considering. As everyone says it has that proven reliable engine. The power delivery is smooth and the seating posture is so good that you won't feel tired even if ride it for long hours continously. Mileage.....well just above 40 if you are not revving hard.

Take test drive between the ZMA and the RTR and decide.

                      Choose wisely.....

                      100cc doing 100+ is awesome!!
150cc cornering like hell is great!

TVS has been into racing for years now.so,that doesnt exactly hold...

RTR 180 has an explosive midrange and a steal for the money you are paying.Even P220 is a serious VFM buy.Have a TD and then decide.of course, dont expect 40+ mileage...if you are keen on mileage, you can see the bikes in a segment below,ie 150cc
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch
