Think about the CB Unicorn or an Apache RTR.

The apache is a very sharp handling vehicle, and the engine is good. (I'm too tall for it, so I didnt buy it) Considering your height, it should be a perfect fit. The service is slightly doubtful, but then again, it all depends on finding a good service station.

I suggest you take the bikes out for a test ride, try out all possible bikes over a week or so. No number of posts or replies will give you as much info as a test ride. What's even worse, you might find conflicting opinions, which will put your mind into a total state of confusion.

And remember, make the choice from your heart, going a little overbudget is okay if you seriously feel that the bike you've chosen is "your" bike.

The 150cc Bikes which have tubeless tyres are Dazzler,Hunk, & FZ series. Since you are not interested in Dazzler, you can try Hunk which is also a good bike.

since you would be using it only for a year and a half, consider the baby pulsar too i.e. the pulsar 135. Its performance is as good/even better than some of the 150cc bikes and gives good mileage too.

if you want to bank in only on yamaha, go ahead and book the SZ-R. It won't disappoint you at all. Really good for city riding.

All my friends have adviced me against bajaj! I guess SZ-R is the way to go without tubeless (I can always change it cant I)... hopefully the resale val will be there by then...

Pulsar 135 is a good option. U will get performance of a 150cc machine , mileage of a 135cc machine.

I own a Pulsar 150 for the past 1.8 year and completely satisfied with its quality. Not as bad as people say.

Test ride of P135 an SZ will make the things clear.

First and foremost, It's Bike not byk. That was a name of a disastrous bike from bajaj label.

                        Now, back to the question.
So you want 150 for around 1.5 years. Budget is 70K and you like SZ-R.
Then go for it. It sure looks good on road. it's well under 70K + it is stylish + you will get mileage of 50+ and you should get decent resale value as well.
                        Go for it.

dont worry for the tyres. after u get the bike remove the tubes from tyres and make it tubeless. i dont think its modification will cost more than 200 bucks and any tyre shop will do it.
