  • Help choose a bike for my sis...

    Hi Guyz..!!

My younger sis wants the buy a gearless bike.. She asked me, then I thought no other place then this could be perfect to get answers..

    Some she shortlisted :
    Rodeo
    Dio

    Some I felt good :
    TVS Wego
    Pleasure

She found 'Access' very small even to accommodate a pillion.

Please suggest from this list or any from your experience. No Activa please.. The wait is killing..

I can get genuine answers from all over the country sitting at home.. Can anything be better then xBHP

this is my list for you

      1. Rodeo [at the cost of below or close to 53 you get look, power, performance]

      2.Wego

      3. Pleasure

      4. Access

      5 Dio, activa's

I think you should consider deo once before considering anything else.

I think the following scooters are good:

          1. TVS Wego (I really like this one though I have never ridden it)

TVS Wego Launched In India At Rs 42500

          2. Mahindra Duro / Rodeo (I would prefer Duro)
          3. Honda Aviator (I think this one is costlier than the rest)
Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Access is smaller than rodeo ?? Ur sister rejected access but ok with rodeo..
Access is the best one if you need performance.
If first preference for looks then DIO looks very youthful.
Rodeo must be very nimble through traffic and powerful too. :-) choice is yours..

I personally haven't ridden gear less vehicle for considerable time but while test driving once on my cousin's Access i felt it was nice & breaks were great but yeah i found it very small for pillion rider, as per looks i found HH Pleasure best for girls it just looks dam beautiful & it also has trouble free run as i myself inquired about it from its owners as well as from HH SVC guy who's my friend..

Count in the experience of having to deal with service centres. I'd rule out Honda (too busy) and Suzuki (too few) as you already have for other reasons.

Depending on your little sister's height and weight choose between Wego and Rodeo. Both have telescopic front shocks and accessible fuel taps. I'd go with a white Wego, if I were your sis. It looks classy. In a distant past, I considered buying a Rodeo, but ground clearance was an issue considering Bangalore's infamous speed Breakers.

The HH scooter - Pleasure is light. It still uses the older Activa engine (100cc) but has a leading link front suspension.

                        Good luck!
