  • Freakin out for RTR!!

    Hey Guys,

I've searched for some new 150cc segment bikes and I prefer some sporty bike. So think that RTR 160 can be my ride!

Now I'm totally confused about the models coz RTR 160 comes in three variant....the Fi, Refresh and the Hyper Edge!! Which one do I prefer??

And tell me one more thing guys......do i made a right choice for this????

dont go for fi. as it is has not much increase just .4bhp.

characteristics of fi are the prower delivery is different in fi. it is more linear and also the exhaust sound if different.
will save you around 8k .

in refresh and hyper choose which ever according to your budget and looks you want.

ya. there are some peculiar characterstics of fi that havent been solved till date.
like bike looses power in low revs after awhile in summer it gets even worsts.

the hyper edge is only available now, not refresh . it just has new stickers and a few minor changes . i would also recommend the hyperedge over the fi version .

Apache FI is not available now.Even if it is available in your city, dont buy it.FI loses its power and refinement after riding for some kms,it becomes rough and more importantly A.S.S is an issue.
Go for the new Hyperedge. It is more refined among the earlier version of 160.

Every company have failed to click with their FI models, except the R15 which does not have a single issue till date
Pulsar 220 dts-fi,Apache 160 fi,stunner pgmfi and now the ZMR have failed miserably for their respective companies

                        P.S-No offence to anyone

RTR-hyper Edge is my call . I own RTR-Efi and even after riding it 50k+ kms still bike is giving me 48-53kmpl in any condition . there is no powerloss and all .
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

Guess that's old stock. Now only apache hyperedge is available. Changes being new stripes and new rear fender.

The stunner fi's problem is the price point not the fi system and have not heard any problems with ZMR too.. correct me if i am wrong

                              @ thread starter,
If mileage is not a big concern then why not Apache 180 , more fun , more excitement. Otherwise i would say hyperedge is the call. Because its a carb model and can be serviced or repaired by any mechanic. If you go for FI , then you should seek for specialised mechanic.. You cant always rely on authorised SVC.
