so the 160 has short stroke length than 180 consequently good low end punch making city usage more fun

guys i suggest you continue your 160 vs. 180 argument on a separate thread and help our friend out in picking a bike......

the 180 is a great bike go for it I dont think you would have any backpain problems its just a matter of getting used to the riding position....and in a few days you will find it pretty comfy...
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!' -Hunter S. Thompson

        @pavan
The new cbz is a very nice package overall but at a premium see to what you need and which one will satisfy your needs the most ;try td both cbz and rtr and then decide(dont go for td with the showroom instead try borrowing from anyone you know who has the bike because by doing so you can ride it for a considerable long time that you really get to know the feel of both bikes exactly)
@revvhard i wasnt comparing 160 vs 180 was explaining my point to pavan why i suggested 160
drove both 180 and 160 back to back, but felt the 160 more suited for city riding; also the 160 return better FE figure than the 180 .

          CBZ Xtreme : OTR 70-80K, mileage 45-50kmpl
Best midsegment bike (now a days I see many complaints about segment best Unicorns), addictive mid-range, I have seen 80K done Xtreme and it still rock like new bike....
          Karizma : OTR 90-100K, mileage 35-40kmpl
Personally I believe it is still the best looking bike in India, proven engine and loads of torque, easy cruise at 100-110 makes this bike the best all-rounder, mileage is a negative but the bike is total FUN

hy hello myself tarun sharma .i m going to buy a new bike for me ..in 200 to 250cc segment ..n i did little bit market research ..n i like honda cbr 250r ..as due to t following reasons
1.as it has a single cylinder engine.
            2. thats why it requires less maintainence.
            3. it has got abs
4.n looks is great also .
5.as t only worry about that ..if i wll get t good servicing after purchasing this bike in kanpur.

@ tarun at present the best in 200-250 cc segment is kTM Duke 200 , but as per your requirements the two things which may go against KTM would be
              1. No ABS
              2. Service stations in Kanpur

for the rest ktm will have edge , with its 25 BHp (same as cbr 250)
would suggest a test ride of KTM Duke 200 .
Its not always about the ride its sometime the Rider!

cbr c-abs is a great buy,but ninja rules the 250 cc segment,if are concerned about safety and not that skill-full in braking i strongly recommend you cbr c-abs.cbr looks great but no one can beat ninja in green..at honda service centres cbr gets love like a commited gf does to a boy
and the question remains why do i race?
