bike for beginner rider

Hi , I am new to bike riding. Planning to buy a new bike to learn with.
What are the bikes will be easy to learn and good to handle in city traffic.
I stay in bangalore and traffic is horrile here. Below are the detail.
My height 5 ft 5 in. and weight 70 kg.
Please suggest a bike....
