  • Bike for Touring(Ladakh & all other places) as well as city driving

    Hi,
could someone please help me in selecting a new bike.
I'm gonna use it for daily use as well as touring which i just started.
I am also interested in tour to ladakh in near future.
im 5'10 75kg, driving speed 90 max, no racing.
budget is preferably 80-85k max. fuel economy matters.
im currently driving yamaha gladiator, so wouldnt wanna loose handling & smoothness unless i gain some other important thing(fe,acc.,etc.)
also should i go for sports type or cruiser(enfield) type.
    Thanks

+ for P220 bike is nice and easy to maintain + you will get spares even in places like Leh.
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

            GS150R/CB Unicorn Dazzler???
Better FE's than those mentioned above and can tour well too
Another point is that you can save some money and you can use it to buy good riding gear

I don't know from which city u will be purchasing.

              In the cruiser category.
The Bajaj Avenger 220 is Rs.84277 OnRoad here in Mumbai.
As far as the enfield is considered it will be out of your budget.

If your are looking at other bikes like ZMA or P220 then it will be close to 89K OnRoad.

              Finally the choice is yours.
I hate being a pillion, iff the rider is senseless.

It depends on your choice buddy... Which style do you like?

Go for P 220, in case of something sporty. OR Avanger 220 if you prefer a cruiser. Both can be slightly over the budget, but...

In the 150cc segment Suzuki GS 150R is a very good touring bike....since its very stable at high speeds.
If u want to go a segment higher then Karizma R will suite your touring needs, its a proven touring bike.
