    ridingsoul needs help.....

    all the ppl out there tel me wat u feel.......

    its been four years now m using(ripping) the the bike my mom bought for her.
    n now she wants me to go for a new bike. "that's great".
    but brothers tel me one thing wat m i suppose to go with? i have my pockets ready to invest, n everyone is askin me to go for the FZ16.
    andar ki baat ye hai ki, to of my seniors are worikng for the BAJAJ plant in Chakan in Pune, n they are working in the some assembly were were the P200 is assembled n the conveyers for the ninja 250 are made ready. the good newas is the first 2 test mules of the 250 have been already assembled and will shurely go out for testing. (Pune Bhpians keep ur eyes ready to see it in Black n Green). so is it not wise to wait till it hits the maket? though they themsels say it is not shure even weather it will come by the end of the last quarter of the financial year. but i dont mind waitin...

    wat u say????

      sorry but your language is not clear....wait till the launch of ninja if you have 2 lakhs ready for it and yeah you also have to stand in the q for getting it

            @Akshay & Haxor: Ninja will be a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) and will be locally assembled.

            @riding soul: wait for the Ninja only if you are ready to shell out something in region of 2.5 to 3 lakhs.

              hmm. I got confused in your language.
              You know the launch date of Ninja 250R?
              I thought its launching between mid feb 09 to march 09.
              If you have budget and patience then wait for ninja.
              If you can't wait then go for R15 or P220.

                And be ready to fight with the Bajaj S.V.C idiots, who cant even properly service the simple single cylinder ohc bikes!
                If you have the moolah, and can live with the activa for a coupla months more, wait around to see what comes in the first quarter of 09.
                What is your budget?
                Or just go ahead and buy the Zma for 80k, nothing to go wrong with that decision as you seem to love touring.

                    i thought it was a CBU will be built at the Chakan plant[ i read it somewhere,donno where] and yeah to reduce the cost they will cheap local products

                    and yeah bajaj will use cheap materials for its production to reduce the production cost...i think it'll will cost around 1.5-2 lakhs

                          CBU means Completely Built unit and if thats the case there s nothing to build at the Chakan Plant! Its an import.
                          The only way to bring down the cost and which I assume is what they are doing is going the CKD route. I guess that is what Bandhav is trying to convey.

                            Ninja will be a CKD Unit according to Mr Bajaj. If such the case, I expect it to be under 2 lakhs. Anything over it, will be a little out of budget for many many bikers.

                              @Haxor: i really dont know what you think and waht the base of doing so, but being the part of Bajaj & Probiking Team i can make you sure that irrespective of the fact how badly you dont want it price of the bike will be on the wrong side of 2 lakhs. But i can ensure you that too that every single penny spend on this will be worth.
