if u are considering pillion comfort and safety, atleast for now u shouldn't go for a r15...last week i went for a small ride with freinds..let me share my exp...i have left my zma for service..i didn't take my bike..it was 100( to and fro) short trip..i was the pillon in r15..my freind was doing some where around 80...suddenly a cattle crossed the road and he hit the brakes hard..the rear wheel locked up and the bike fish-tailed..i was thrown off fromt the rear seat..nothing to hold..if it was some other bike with grab rails,,the impact would be less...still i surfer from a burised shoulder..then incident happened some 5 days ago..

regarding zmr, i weigh around 85 and my freind weighs the same..the total weight of riders was 168..the bike zoomed off to 134 on the speedo...what else u need from a bike...

u can buy a r15..ride solo and take the bike to open roads and the confidence u get above speeds of 100 will make u smile about the money u spent on the bike...if u prefer pilion riding ,,then its no yamaha r15

u can try zma also....or else u can consider p220 or rtr 180 abs..extra safety measure with abs...

I rode fz/fazer sometime bak. Thou u get d big bik feel, they r nt as responsive to the throttle... So m just too confused

in ur post, u said i need a good top speed..fz-s/fazer wil scream like anything above 100...the best options will be..
rtr180 abs, zma, p220 or zmr...

no r15 means there is really nothing to hold if u loss balance...the pillion seats are almost useless for pillion seating..pillion tend to slip from the seating positon..females will find it really hard to sit..i just shared my experience as u said pillion comfort is important.

for ur information zmr is readily available for deliveyr with all dealers in cuddalore and villupuram districts...red. white, black are there...i guess in chennai, there is a waiting period of 1 month for zmr..

Anyways...I have an update!

Back @ chennai,the yamaha showroom mechanics came to my house and have taken a look at my enticer and informed my dad that they will get back to him about the price before tomorro (initially without looking at it they gave an approx value). Now, since i want to go for a zmr or something else (just because of pillion comfort), i have told my dad to cancel it.

But it was too late... However he is ready to cancel the booking if they say a price that my dad does not agree. If it goes for a good bargain, then my dad will sell the enticer and my fate is to pick one of the 3 yamahas!!! (R15/FZS/Fazer) ...

All those good hearts out here just pray that my enticer should not go for a good rate ... PLEASE!

If it happens i shall try the ZMR ...

by the way pravinan, seems like you r from chennai... it would be helpful if you could give me some place in chennai where ZMR is delivered soon(less than 2 weeks is welcomed ... max 20 days :S)... So that if everything goes good (cancellation of R15 booking - again just because for the pilion :|), i shall wrap up and book a ZMR Asap

in chennai,,waiting period is long..one of my freind is waiting nearly for one month for his zmr...most showroom people says the waiting period is more than one month for white and black...if u want immediate delivery u can get it from B towns..out of chennai...

we went to buy a dazzler deluxe for my friend at a honda showroorom in kolkata,we asked them to deliver it on my friend birthday within 2 days.they told us they had 2 but those were booked and next lot is gonna arrive next month.so we told them we are ready to pay extra cash,they denied .we left the showroom disheartened,with in 1 hr we got a call from them,they told us bike is ready for immidiate delivery,surely money speaks

Twist of fate!!?

I have an update guys!!! I guess I'll sell my old bike in Yamaha showroom , however will loose the 1k advance charges.
I think I'll book a black zmr in hero showroom which is expected within 10 days


I just have one query ... The zmr s all good but I m not perfectly able to place both my legs on road... A small half - 1 inch gap in both legs from ground I'm just placing the tip of my feet ...

Is that okay ???. I'm around 5.9-5.10 in height

i'm 5.8...i have no problems in grounding my feet in my freind's zmr..my gf who is 5.4 rode the zmr without any troubles..i guess u won't find any problems...

if u find it difficult to ground legs, get a pair of boots..it will do...

Hi are u talking about keeping one foot on the ground or both feet without any prob :S cuz I'm 5.9 n I do hav a gap of .5 inch
