  • Light weight scooterette choices

Still being new to the Indian scooterette market, I need your advice regarding the options available for a scooterette which would meet the following needs:
    1. Light weight.
    2. Loads of storage space(underseat and up front).
    3. Adequate pickup and power since this will be used only for very short distances in city traffic.
    4. Reliability as in fewer visits to the dealership.
    5. Good post-sales service.
    6. Good seating/riding comfort.

We currently have an Activa, however my dad finds it too heavy and hence the search for a suitable replacement.

In case there already is a similar thread, please guide me to it.

And please let me know when the P200NS booking start in Chennai . The Activa is for my Dad, I am waiting waiting waiting for the 200NS .

i have three very contemporary products in mind=

      1.dio[india's only moto-scooter]=new 110 cc,bump in power figure,claimed 15% more mileage,looks fresh,tubelss tyres,cbs,18 ltr storage space with additional luggage space,mf battery,viscous air-filter which needs changing after15000km,very well priced[read vfm],it lacks telescopic front suspension and discs upfront.

      2.tvs wego[very compitent yet underrated]=body balance tech is proven ,i hav experienced its superior handling,telescopic front suspension,patented e-z stand,external fuel-filling cap,powerful than dio,good looking alloys,priced slightly more than dio.

3.suzuki swiss[dark horse]=looks awesome, powerful of the lot[access's proven 125 engine],telescopic front suspension,20 litre under-seat storage, stylish silencer cover, priced well, only con is this is new product and reviews are not yet out
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
      #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

it blends the looks of a motorcycle with the comfort of a scooter.

              Do try this one

              India's Only No-Petrol two-seater - YO EXL

I never recommend ANY other electric scooter. This is the most complete one, hence the recommendation. But since you won't be using the scooter too much, electric may make some sense though not too much.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

today saw an old man riding this, asked him how is the experience,he told ,it does its job pretty well.
