That I don't know; I don't own a C150R nor have ridden one nor intent to own one in the future.

seems like you don't love revving.
good luck with your handling in congested city traffic with r15.
        anyways congrtazzz on your buy.
Thanks mate. True I like to keep the engine smooth except on top speed runs. Its hard but you can find a few good corners around Chennai

@aargee, that's actually why I posted this thread, because I wasn't sure. Now I'm just counting on the R15 to be as good at driving as it looks

not to worry ,it PERFORMS,although not really fan of city traffic riding due to fairing and not-so-good low end torque[ecu and drivetrain is tweaked for low end in version 2].

Nope, thats well beyond me. I got your point, you're saying I'm not good enough to use the full potential of the R15, but dude, my whole driving experience is less than 6000kms, I've got a lot of learning to do...

@aargee, not exactly, in the last minute I looked at the 2 bikes and decided that R15 looked waay better(which I accept is not the best way to decide), but the choice was basically between the two, and from the time of RX I've always had a soft corner for Yamaha couldn't help wanting something distantly related to the R1...sorry about the driving/riding mistake.

most people i know have bought it for its phoren look, they don't even know a thing about the chasis and the behaviour of the bike at corners, but who gives a damn when he has the money,i am happy with low-budget corner lover rtr.

No dude I did my research, and RTRs have a terrible record, after 1 year every one I asked told me the engine starts to die/ give trouble one of classmate's RTR just ceased and he actually takes decent care of it.

About the chassis, well its not a deltabox on RTR nor is it a monosuspension and worst of all I've seen how well RTRs fishtail with the rear disc brake.

But you're right I really like Japanese bikes they last long, good technology...

That I'll definitely try... After the long run in..

P.S. to scrap pegs you have to take corners at much higher speeds right?

i don't agree with most of the parts of your post, rtr is good to go even after 3-4 years with some basic maintainance, rtr neither need a perimeter frame nor a monocross to lean at corners ,it just corners due to well sorted-out chasis[thanks to their racing pedigree],suspension[polyshocks really works],well distribution of mass, less kerb weight, low set clip-ons,rear set foot-pegs.fish-tail can even happen in r15 if the guy don't know how to brake.
and the question remains why do i race?

Go for CBR, the service is not that terrible, it varies from place to place, after free services, you can buy spares from Honda and get them fixed by any mechanic...
